Give a Gift for…
- Gift to the YMCA Annual Campaign for financial assistance to the community
- Gift for program supplies/facility enhancements
Since the construction of our new facility in 2008, our YMCA has grown to serve exponentially more kids, seniors and families through programs for Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility. Along with this growth has come increased demand for financial assistance for those who need a helping hand to participate at the YMCA. In addition, we have a growing "wish list" of supplies and equipment for our programs that will help us continue to meet the needs of our members and participants: New strength training machines, youth sports program supplies, aquatics equipment, and much more.
- Gift to help reduce/retire the YMCA building debt
The debt incurred from building our current YMCA facility in 2008 - coinciding with the economic downturn - consumes a very large portion of our resources, impairing our ability to meet the growing and expanding needs of our members and our community. The current financing structure of our debt is not sustainable and leaves our organization vulnerable to serious economic pressures in the near future. We need to be responsible stewards and proactive with caring for this building, equipment and mechanical systems. We must pay down or eliminate the remaining debt so that we can reivest resources where they can make the most impact on our mission and our community.
- Gift to YMCA Endowment
Our YMCA has served this community for more than 100 years. In order to ensure its health and vitality for the next century, we are launching a Heritage Club for legacy gifts. You can make a commitment today that will benefit YMCA youth and families for generations to come. Various vehicles are available to make a gift to the YMCA through your estate plan, or you may contribute directly to the YMCA's endowment fund.
We know that when we work together, we move individuals, families and our community forward. The YMCA responds to our community's needs by developing innovative, community-based solutions to help those in need reach their full potential.
We believe sports, fun and exploring new interests aren't just for the young. Along with improving health, whenever teamwork is involved, there's the added benefit of being connected to others. That's why you'll find a range of recreational activities at the Y. With something to offer everyone, there's no such thing as being too old to get in the game.
All kids have great potential. At the Y, we work every day to help them set and achieve personal and educational goals. Hundreds of children and teens in our community build skills and confidence as they explore new interests and passions through the Y. We strive to ensure that every child has an opportunity to envision and pursue their best possible future.
