Dear Parkview Huntington Family YMCA Member,

In light of Governor Holcomb’s recent stay-at-home order, we have made the following changes.  Our tentative date to reopen our facility is now April 7th.  If you have questions regarding memberships and programs, our phones will be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11am-1pm.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this evolving and challenging situation. We look forward to seeing you and returning to business as usual as soon as possible.

Be sure to register for our newsletter and look for continuous updates, free virtual workouts, and other announcements on our Facebook, Instagram, and here on our Parkview Huntington YMCA website to access these free workouts and fun activities for all age groups.  I encourage you to check out our “Social Distancing Challenge” in which you earn points for walking, running, and biking outside. See UPDATED flyer following and go HERE to register for this fun challenge to keep moving.  To track your progress, grab the log sheet to print from HERE!

We will continue to strive to be a positive force during this public health crisis and encourage you to do the same.  I have been amazed by the kindness that our community has shown to each other.  This attitude is the reason we work hard to keep the Y involved in the diverse needs of our community.

In other good news, if you stay with us, your membership dues can be considered a charitable donation during this time.  If you are interested in receiving a letter acknowledging your contribution for tax purposes, please email joy.koch@huntingtony.org.

As members, we care about you and your health and wellness. You are the heart of this organization, and we know how much you depend on the Y. We hope you understand how difficult this decision has been. We ask that you support each other and stay connected. Reach out to your fellow members and neighbors, especially those who may be isolated during this time.

I sincerely thank you,

Todd Latta
