Kendall Mickley, Chairman of the YMCA Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the selection of Casey Wilson as the interim Executive Director of the Parkview Huntington YMCA.  The Board of Directors has entered into a management agreement with the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne to provide staff leadership and consulting services during the period of time the Board will be conducting a CEO search process. 

Casey is a 1996 graduate of Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  In addition, Casey received his Master’s degree from Purdue in 1998. Casey brings over thirteen years of Y experience to the Parkview Huntington YMCA.  At the present time, Casey serves as the Executive Director of the Central Branch YMCA in Fort Wayne where he is responsible for overall management and program operations of the facility located in downtown Fort Wayne.  Casey is very involved in the community and is a member of the Association of YMCA Professionals. 

“Casey is enthusiastic about the opportunity to provide leadership during this transitional time.  He is also looking forward to working with the volunteers and staff to assure a smooth transition and the delivery of quality services that strengthen the foundation of our community through programs and services that focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility,” said Mickley. 

The YMCA will be undergoing a formal selection process over the next few months with the support of the YMCA of the USA.  The Board of Directors anticipates after a thorough national search the announcement of the new CEO will occur by the end of August. The search committee will be chaired by Board member Michael Zahn.
