Our pre-school program includes experiences for pre-k skills, social & physical growth and educational field trips. It is our goal to insure the children are learning in a warm and supportive environment, discover their world and develop trust and security. That makes for confident, successful kids today, and contributing, engaged adults tomorrow.
The YMCA values the importance of learning to swim and offers only the Super Star classes 1 swim session 1 day a week for 6 weeks at noextra charge. The lesson time conveniently coordinates with classroom time from 11:45-12:15. Authorized pick up people are responsible for getting the student to swimming and the classroom.

At the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA, we believe the values and skills learned early in a child’s life are vital building blocks for future success. Our pre-school staff understands the cognitive, physical and social development of young children — support to feel connective and try new things, and the care and nurturing they need as they grow older. Our staff teaches early literacy, shows children how to develop trust and security, and learn new skills to be ready for kindergarten. That makes for confident kids today, and contributing, engaged adults tomorrow.
The YMCA Preschool is proud to serve the Huntington community with support from the Vectren Foundation and TCU (Teachers Credit Union) Foundation.
