It’s through our Annual Campaign that we raise funds to continue to make the Y a place for ALL to participate. Each year the YMCA provides its members, community businesses and community members the opportunity to “give back”. Every dollar raised through the annual campaign is reinvested back into our community so Y programming and membership can be available to all community members who may present the need for financial assistance.
In 2023 the YMCA provided donor-sponsored support to over 2200 members with more than $136,000 given in subsidized services to families and individuals in the Huntington community. As one of the largest non-profit organizations in the state, the Y is dedicated to serving everyone and we are asking for community support to do so. Your gift truly matters! The YMCA encourages community members to be part of the gift that gives back! The Parkview Huntington YMCA is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. As such, all charitable gifts received in the Annual Campaign are tax-deductible to the extent of the tax code.
The goal and mission of the YMCA is putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body FOR ALL. Y members are encouraged to consider their membership dues as a gift for themselves and a donation to the annual campaign is a gift given to the community.
Throughout 2024 individuals continued to present with the need for financial assistance and we continue to assist in making a Y membership and Y programming affordable for ALL. Gifts can still be given to the 2024 Annual Campaign by using the “DONATE NOW” or “GIVE” buttons by going here on the website or you can stop by and pick up a pledge form at the front desk.
Additionally, during the 2024 holiday season we have our “Giving Tree” at the front desk. Members may participate by stopping at the front desk and help support a student in a particular programming or membership area. For more information about the Annual Campaign or Giving Tree, contact Joy Koch at [email protected] or call the YMCA at 260-359-9622.
