IMPORTANT FACILITY UPDATES COMPLETED
We recently celebrated 16 years in our “new” building in the fall of 2024! With the constant use of over 6000 members, we continue to make updates to keep our equipment and facility up-to-date and in good-working order. Our 2024 “Wellness Center Refresh” began in February 2024 with LED lighting, ceiling fan upgrades, removal of the dividing wall and water fountain relocation.
The next phase of work began October 7, 2024 with flooring updates (installation of non-slip flooring) in the family locker room hallway leading to the pool. Additionally, carpet was removed and replaced with a polished concrete finish in the hang-out room and conference room.
Also, beginning October 12, flooring updates started in the fitness center area as carpet was removed and replaced with new rubber (vulcanized) weight-room flooring and polished concrete. These areas of our building were closed for a few days while our pool, track, gymnasium and group exercise classes remained operating normally.
The fitness area reopened on October 23rd complete with the newly polished/laid floors. The installation of new fitness equipment took place over the next couple of months, including various pieces of cardio, strength and free-weight equipment which arrived in late January 2025. The new pieces of cardio equipment include a 16″ console touchscreen which allows wireless casting from your phones and integrated Pluto TV.
