Cardio Classes

We offer a variety of classes that will get your heart rate up!

These are all free for YMCA members, ages 14+! Join us in class!

Line Dancing

Tues 5:30pm
Line dancing is a great way to exercise. Increase your cardiovascular endurance, improve balance, move rhythmically to energizing music, and release stress. No dance experience needed, just the desire to move and have fun!

Y-Cardio

Mon, Wed, & Fri 5:30-6:00am
A 30 minute early-morning class to get you moving and sweating. Participate in a variety of exercises in the gym that will get your heart rate up.

Cardio Blast

Mon & Wed 4:30-5:00pm
A 30 min. high-intensity, total body boot camp in the gym. Work at your own pace or challenge yourself to keep up with others.

Cardio Drumming

Wed 5:30-6:15pm
Sat 9:00-9:45am
Let’s get out the drum sticks and move to the music! We’ll pound on a stability ball, while squatting, lunging and getting heart rates up. What a fun way to exercise!

RIP

Tues & Thurs 5:00-5:45am *Starts April 2nd!
Mon & Thurs 5:30-6:15pm
RIP is a barbell class with pre-choreographed routines that are challenging and effective for all levels. Your instructor will lead and motivate you through a full-body workout, focusing on a different muscle group during each song.

Sport

Tues 4:45-5:15pm
This class is designed to fine tune your body with an emphasis on cardio, strength and core training. Participate in a variety of athletic movements using the step and dumbbells.

Zumba

Mon 6:30-7:15pm
Dance to the music! Zumba routines feature aerobic, fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.

Y-Cycle

Tues & Thurs 5:15-6:00am
Tues & Thurs 8:15-8:45am
Wed 7:15pm
Enjoy the ride during this free indoor cycling class. Your instructor will coach you to vary the gears along the way to challenge you to work harder and burn more calories while riding to the rhythm of the music.

20 Min. Abs

Mon & Wed 5:00-5:20pmStrengthen the muscles of the abs and back with not stop core sculpting moves. Most exercises areperformed on the floor.
